+Is Hopewell a coworking space?

While Hopewell is a place to work, it isn’t necessarily considered a place of work like most coworking spaces.

Hopewell does not offer private offices or assigned desks the way many typical coworking spaces do. Instead, our members can make short term reservations in private rooms if needed or spend their time in different areas of the main space.

Most people don’t spend all of their working hours at Hopewell as they have another workplace, or home office and use Hopewell as just one of the places they work best.

Hopewell’s typical hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am - 6:30pm.
The cafe is open Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.

Weekend and extended hours are available for private events and programing

+Where is Hopewell located?

Hopewell is located at 130 E. Chestnut St. right outside of the Arena District in Columbus, Ohio.

+Can I visit Hopewell to learn more and take a tour?

+Where do I park when I visit Hopewell?

There are many parking lots, garages and meters surrounding Hopewell. Click here to view a map of some of the options close by.

+Where do I go when I arrive?

Our main entrance is available on the south side of the building, accessible from Chestnut St.

(We try to direct foottraffic to the main door whenever possible but, if needed, our other entrance is accessible from Lazelle Alley on the west side of the building. When you enter the door to the building, Hopewell’s entrance is slightly to the right and next to the elevator. (map)


+What type of people are members?

Membership is made up of creatives, entrepreneurs, recent college grads, seasoned corporate professionals, etc. and is not limited to any one type of person or industry. Hopewell's purpose is to strengthen the community and end professional isolation, no matter the members' personal or professional background.

+What are the member benefits?

Members have daily access to the space to use however best works for them, free drip coffee, high-speed wifi, discounted rates to private spaces and special events, invites to members-only gatherings, life long learning opportunities for personal and professional growth and more.

+Are there different types of membership?

The two primary forms of membership are individual and corporate. Anyone who would like to join on their own can opt into a monthly individual membership.

Companies that have nine or more employee members can join under the corporate membership option. Corporate memberships are customized to best fit the needs of individuals, teams and the company as a whole.

+Can members invite guests?

Members are welcome to invite (nonmember) guests to Hopewell without any additional fees or day passes. If you have a guest joining you, please let the front desk know their name and what time they will be arriving. All guests should sign in at the front desk upon arrival.

While there is no limit to the number of guests a member can invite to Hopewell, it is our hope that guests who are visiting regularly and for extended periods of time will opt to join the Hopewell community as a monthly member.

+Are printing serices available?

At this time, we do not provide printing sericees. We hope to add this amenitiy in the future.

+Can I get coffee at Hopewell?

Yes, we are happy to serve you up a cup and fuel your day for both members and non. As always, drip coffee is free to members.

+Can I hang out or work from Hopewell if I’m not a member?

Yes, of course! If you would like to attend an event at Hopewell, check out our event calendar here. While many events are open to all, some events are limited to members only. If an event is not open to nonmembers, this will be noted in the event details.

Often, private events are held at Hopewell but are not necessarily hosted by Hopewell. These events may be open to all or limited to a specific audience. If the event is open to Hopewell members and the wider public, it will be listed on our events page. If it is not open to all it will not be on Hopewell’s event calendar and event organizers will manage their event audience invites and communications directly.

+Can I get coffee at Hopewell?

Nonmembers are welcome to visit the Hopewell cafe. Please note, wifi access is limited to nonmembers.

+Can I make a reservation for a meeting or event?
